ThePalaceMuseumonline store pulled one of their recently released cultural creative products,the princess doll, off the market on Thursday evening, due to itsbody's resemblance of a certain foreign brand. The official Taobao store of themuseum published a statement on their homepage. The statement emphasized thatthe head of the doll was the designers' original, and there is no possibilityof a similar one in the market. However, the intellectual property of thedoll's body part belongs to a cooperating factory, which has authorized thestore to use it. The store expressed gratitude to warmhearted friends'suggestions and decided to recall the doll and remake its body with a newmodel. This received good responses from netizens.
